Full Care Short-term and Long-term Horse Boarding Stable

Horse boarding available January 1, 2025! Submit your boarding agreement now. Conveniently located less than one mile off State Route 410 (SR 410) in Buckley, Washington (East Pierce County). We offer short-term and long-term full care horse pasture boarding. Horse pasture boarding options are listed below which include a 1/4-1/2 acre personal pasture with a 12' x 12' box stall shelter in either our main barn or shed row. We provide seasonal field turn-out as grass supply and weather permits. We clean daily, feed twice daily (including owner's prepared supplements/grain), and provide access to water 24/7. Amenities include a 60' round pen, direct Foothills Trail horseback access, covered wash rack, insulated tack room, refrigerator, microwave, and hot water. We accept cash payments, no checks. Electronic payment options are available for an additional fee.

Horse haul-ins for privateFoothills National Recreation Trail direct access. We provide secure parking so you can trail ride on horseback all the way to Enumclaw, Wilkeson, Carbonado, South Prairie, Orting, Puyallup or Tacoma. We charge $25 per trailer with up to 4 horses all day during day light hours only. We have plenty of room to turn around––please let us know 24 hours ahead of your planned arrival. A one-time hold harmless release must be signed by all visitors which is available onsite by using a QR code with your cell phone or paper form.

A. Basic Full Care

$500/month
Great for the horse or pony with minimal dietary needs or restrictions. Our most economical and hassle free option entrusts that we will care daily for your animal with his or her best interests at heart. This includes turn-out alone or with others and stall/barn and pasture rotation occurs as we see fit. Includes up to 15 lbs of alfalfa, orchard, and/or local hay daily. Does not include trailer storage.

B. Extra Full Care

Great for the full size horse that eats slow, is a hard-keeper, requires a low-carb or high-fiber, high-calorie diet, or has naturally high stress levels. Our most regulated, predictable, and secure option keeps your horse in one location and reduces stress during changes and rotations. Includes up to 20 lbs of alfalfa, orchard, and/or local hay daily. Does not include trailer storage.

C. á la Carte Full Care

$525/month + three tiers of add-on options or discounts
Great for the owner who delights in a personalized experience for their cherished 4-footed friend. This offering is our most ultimate premium experience and provides your horse the care and regimen specific to your selections. Variable add-ons or discounts come as year-round options and seasonal-based options for wintertime or summertime. Includes up to 20 lbs of alfalfa, orchard, and/or local hay daily with the option to add more over the winter.

Work must be completed by 12noon each day rain or shine. Must be able to walk steadily on slippery or frozen ground, lift 50 lbs, and haul and dump waste behind arena.

Monthly savings: $100
Description: 3 days a week picking 3 pastures and cleaning 3 stalls/paddocks (your horses' and others totaling three). OWNER & STABLE agree by the 1st of each month on co-op cleaning days for no less than 12 days and no more than 15 days per billing cycle. One missed day results in removal of discount.

Position 2: 5/5 Wintertime Co-op
Monthly savings: $250
Description: 5 days a week picking 5 pastures and cleaning 5 stalls/paddocks (your horses' and others totaling five). OWNER & STABLE agree by the 1st of each month on co-op cleaning days for no less than 20 days and no more than 23 days per billing cycle. Two missed days results in removal of discount.

D. Short-term Full Care Horse Pasture Board

Starts at $20/day

Our short-term horse boarding is great for when you're out of town for work or if you need vacation horse boarding. Your horse(s) will be cared for as if they're our own. We are home most of the time and will check on your horse(s) regularly.

We offer 1-2 acre pasture space with 24/7 group turn-out for up to 3 horses. Includes one 12’x12’ modular shelter and access to water 24/7. Pasture and shelter area are cleaned daily and hog fuel is used in concentrated areas Oct-Apr. We feed twice daily, up to 15 lbs of alfalfa, orchard, and/or local hay per horse plus owner prepared, ready to serve, grain/supplement baggies. We do not provide bedding nor handle requests for blanket and/or fly control maintenance, grooming and/or hoof picking.

Please provide your preferred veterinary contact information. In case of medical emergency, we will attempt to call you before reaching out to a vet, if we cannot get a hold of your vet, we will use Foothills Veterinary Clinic (Dr. Richard Vetter).

Owner must provide UTD proof of vaccinations and deworming at least 48 hours prior to haul-in date. We do not accept horses with a case of mud fever/scratches, rainrot, snotty nose, and/or cough. We also recommend no shoes on the hind feet.

Reserve your horse's stay! Pre-payment is required to approve your reservation.

Cancellation policy: Full refund is available 30 days before your scheduled stay, half refund is available 15 days before your scheduled stay, no refund is available if cancelling within 14 days of your scheduled stay. We accept cash or you may opt-in to pay using ACH transfer for $10. No checks, please.
